In the next couple days we will be listing the new Boston Bruins 2010 Winter Classic Jersey’s in our hockey clothing section. Get your little piece of this great Winter Classic game. We have some of the Philadelphia Flyers Jersey’s. We are currently looking for other players from these teams to offer our customers.

How did this happen? One of the biggest pieces of hockey memorabilia is now missing. Somehow Sidney Crosby’s stick he scored the OT winner with in the Gold medal game is now missing. If that was my stick and I made his money I would of paid someone to sit around and stare at it till I had it in a secure place hehe. Well I hope it turns up. Would be hard to try to sell it or auction it unless you know some shady underground auction place.

We are in the process of purchasing some of the new 2009-2010 Upper Deck Ice cards. Look for our box breakdown on these hockey cards in the next couple weeks.

Well the trade deadline has come and gone and no real blockbuster moves to talk about.  The only real blockbuster move that even comes to mind is the big trade between Calgary/Toronto that sent Dion Phaneuf to Toronto.  I was still surprised to see Colorado trade Wojtek Wolski. My beloved Red Wings made no moves at the trade deadline, but with virtually no cap space there was probably no room to deal. I can only hope with all the injured players coming back the last few weeks they should all be well rested. Only time will tell  how players hockey memorabilia will be affected by trades and olympic outcomes.

I love this annual hockey event. It was a great decision by the NHL to put the game on every year and using the old style of hockey clothing the players wore in the early days of the game.  I think its nice especially for new fans to see old style uniforms brought back and in some instances new styles. I hope this game is played every year from now to eternity.

What a game. I thought for sure after the US scored with 25 seconds left that we might pull it off. It was a great game that I will remember but I don’t believe I will  remember it quite like the 1980 Miracle on Ice.  I really wanted to see Ryan Miller get the gold for his great goaltending.  I would of liked to see Sweden get the bronze since 5 of my hometown Detroit Red Wings were on the team. Well I guess I have to wait for 4 more years to see if we can pull it off, maybe by then I will be able to make it to Russia and watch.

Me and my girlfriend took my son’s to a LSSU game vs Ferris State a couple weeks ago. All I can say is WOW. Ferris State scored with 0:58 left in the third to take the lead. LSSU then scored with 0:48 left on a goal that had to be reviewed to see if it went in before the goal came off the moorings.  Then with 0:35 left LSSU scored again to take the lead for good. It was such an exciting half a minute and crazy also. What a way to finish off the season at home.

In December we will be highlighting the Northwest Division with 5% off any Colorado Avalanche, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, Minnesota Wild  items.
